Ileana Botero
The aim of counselling is to give the client safe and confidential space to explore more effective ways of living and achieving what they need from life. Counselling seeks to establish the therapeutic relationship in which the client can express thoughts and feelings without being judged. The counsellor can feed back to the client in such a way as to clarify and help them deal with life's challenges.
Biographical Counselling offers a space in which a person can see the events that make their biography and the challenges they meet, as opportunities for development. Through conversation, it becomes possible to discover that within the incomprehensible, the unspeakable, the unbearable there lie forces that can be freed to guide us forward, bringing us closer to our true being.
